General Terms & Conditions of Use

Welcome to Bela Jewels (operating from Pune, India). By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree to these terms, kindly refrain from using our services.

1.1 Bela Jewels reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

1.2 All content on this platform — including product images, descriptions, logos, and branding — is the exclusive intellectual property of Bela Jewels and may not be reproduced without written consent.

2. Jewelry & Product Information

2.1 Brand USP: Bela Jewels specializes in trendy, 100% Anti-Tarnish Fashion Jewelry (with an anti-tarnish coating) inspired by Korean, Minimalist, and Western styles. Our products are designed for college girls and working women who want affordable, everyday elegance.

2.2 Base Material: Our jewelry is crafted from high-quality stainless steel or premium alloy and finished with a durable anti-tarnish coating to maintain its shine.

⚠ IMPORTANT:

“Anti-Tarnish” refers to the coating applied to the jewelry. While this significantly slows down the natural oxidation process, it does not make the jewelry indestructible. Color fading, slight darkening, or surface scratches are natural over time, especially with daily wear, and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Bela Jewels sells Artificial (Fashion) Jewelry. We do not sell sterling silver, gold, or other precious metal jewelry. Specifications are clearly mentioned on the respective product page.
Bela Jewels does not sell gold-filled, or base metal products under the Bela Jewels brand outside of our official channels. Unauthorised sellers should be reported.

3. Pricing & Payment Policy

3.1 All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Bela Jewels reserves the right to revise prices at any time. The price applicable at the time of order placement shall be final.

3.3 Accepted payment methods include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other methods available at checkout. All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways.

3.4 Bela Jewels shall not be liable for any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion charges levied by your financial institution.

3.5 Pricing Errors: In the event of a pricing error on our platform, Bela Jewels reserves the right to cancel orders placed at the erroneous price and issue a full refund. All payment information is processed via SSL-secured third-party gateways. Bela Jewels does not store your card or banking credentials on our servers.

4. Order Placement & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Placing an order constitutes a binding offer to purchase. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of an official order confirmation via email or SMS.

4.2 Bela Jewels reserves the right to accept, modify, or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Order Cancellation by Customer:

Cancellations are accepted only before the order has been dispatched.
Once a shipment has been picked up by the courier partner, cancellation requests will not be entertained.
To request a cancellation, contact us at support@belajewels.com with your Order ID.
Approved cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Order Cancellation by Bela Jewels:

Bela Jewels may cancel an order due to product unavailability, quality issues detected during packing, or force majeure events. In such cases, customers will be notified and a full refund will be processed.

5. Shipping & Delivery Policy

5.1 Bela Jewels ships orders across India through trusted courier partners. International shipping is subject to change; please check the website for updates.

5.2 Standard delivery timelines are 7-12 business days from dispatch. Premium shipping options may be available at checkout.

5.3 Delivery timelines are estimates and may be impacted by public holidays, natural disasters, or courier delays beyond our control.

5.4 A tracking number will be shared via SMS/email once dispatched. Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment.

Shipping Charges:

Free shipping is offered on orders above a specified threshold.
Orders below the threshold will attract a flat shipping fee.

Failed Delivery & RTO (Return to Origin):

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address, customer unavailability, or refusal, the package will be returned (RTO).
A re-delivery fee may be charged for resending the order.
Bela Jewels is not liable for loss caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

6. Exchange Policy (Important – Please Read Carefully)

Bela Jewels does not offer a return or refund policy on delivered products. We offer EXCHANGE ONLY, subject to the conditions outlined below.

6.1 Eligibility for Exchange
Exchange requests will only be considered for products that are genuinely damaged, structurally defective, or incorrectly delivered upon arrival.

The product must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.
Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Requests after this window will not be accepted.
Products showing signs of use, alteration, or tampering are not eligible.
Non-Defective Issues: Change of mind, dislike of color/design, or minor scratches do not qualify for exchange.

6.2 Mandatory Video Proof Requirement

⚠ CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: A clear, uncut unboxing video is MANDATORY to raise any exchange request. Claims without a valid unboxing video will be rejected without exception.
Requirement: The video must show the complete unboxing process—from the sealed package being opened to the product being revealed. The damage or defect must be clearly visible.

6.3 Exchange Process

Step 1: Contact support within 48 hours at support@belajewels.com or WhatsApp with your Order ID, a description, and the unboxing video.
Step 2: Our team will verify the video within 2–3 business days.
Step 3: If approved, you will receive instructions to return the product in its original packaging.
Step 4: Once the returned product is received, the exchange item will be dispatched within 5–7 business days (subject to stock availability).

6.4 Non-Exchangeable Items

Customised, personalised, or engraved jewelry.
Products purchased during sale, clearance, or special discount events (unless defective).
Products damaged due to improper use, storage, chemical contact, or accident.
Gift cards and vouchers.

7. Product Exchange Policy (Specifics)

7.1 Exchange Will Not Be Accepted If:

The product has been used, worn, damaged, or mishandled after delivery.
The issue is due to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper storage.
The customer changes their mind after purchase.
The request is made after the specified 48-hour window.
The product was purchased during a clearance or sale (unless defective).
Allergic Reactions: Bela Jewels is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur from wearing our jewelry. We recommend customers with sensitive skin to consult a physician before purchasing fashion jewelry.

8. Product Warranty & Care Advisory

8.1 Bela Jewels does not provide any warranty, guarantee, or refund on products once delivered. However, we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship.

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

Natural tarnishing, oxidation, or color fading (as these are inherent properties of fashion/base metal jewelry).
Wear and tear resulting from regular use.
Damage caused by exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, or harsh environments.
Loss, theft, or accidental damage to the product.

Jewelry Care Advisory:
To maximize the life of your Bela Jewels:

Store in the provided pouch or airtight zip-lock bag.
Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfumes, and chemicals.
Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercising.
Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners.

💡 Note: Tarnishing is a natural property of fashion jewelry and does not indicate poor quality. Color fading over time is normal and not covered under our exchange policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Bela Jewels’s liability in any dispute arising from a purchase shall be limited to the original invoice value of the product in question.

9.2 Bela Jewels shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or data.

9.3 Bela Jewels makes no warranties, express or implied, beyond what is explicitly stated in these policies.

9.4 Bela Jewels is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, internet disruptions).

10. Intellectual Property & Privacy

10.1 All content (brand name, logo, product designs, photography) is the exclusive property of Bela Jewels and is protected under Indian and international laws.

10.2 Privacy Policy:

Information We Collect: Name, email, phone number, shipping address. We do not store payment credentials.
How We Use Your Information: To process orders, communicate updates, and improve services. We do not sell or rent your data.
Data Sharing: Data is shared only with courier partners and payment gateways.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Consumer Protection Act, 2019; Information Technology Act, 2000).

11.2 Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through Bela Jewels’s customer support within 30 days.

11.3 If amicable resolution is not achieved, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Pune, India.

11.4 All legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Pune, India.
